Meet-A-Mate - Visit to Air Force Museum Pt Cook

The next event in the AFA-Vic Meet-A-Mate program will be a visit to the Air Force Museum at Point Cook on October 4, 2018. The visit will commence at 1030 with a guided tour of the Museum, a light lunch between 1215 and 1300 covered by AFA-Vic, and then a flying display where we will be able to speak with the pilot. After the flying display there will still be time to go back through the Museum before departing around 1500. Association members and their partners, and serving and ex-serving Air Force Personnel in the Melbourne area are invited to attend what should be a fun day.

To assist with catering and possibly transport arrangements (bus, to and from) would you please advise Barb Stallard at office@afavic.org.au or 03 98134600, at the latest by COB Monday 24 September if you are attending. Please indicate if you are interested in going by bus, for this can only happen if we have sufficient numbers to make it worthwhile. The plan is for the bus to leave HQ or possibly another site at 0930, returning around 1600. For those travelling by car access to the Museum is straightforward, just advise the guard on the gate that you are going to the Air Force Museum.
