2023 Air Force Proficiency & Leadership Awards
On Friday 31 March, official Air Force celebrations were held to acknowledge the 102 years since the formation of the RAAF, including the Air Force Proficiency and Leadership Awards.
In addition to local base commemorations, official events were conducted in Canberra, including the raising of the RAAF ensign, a commemorative service at the RAAF Memorial on Anzac Parade, a Last Post ceremony at the Australian War Memorial and the Air Force Proficiency and Leadership Awards ceremony.
On hand at the the Air Force Proficiency and Leadership Awards was Air Force Association National Vice President Peter McDermott who presented the Air Force Association Trophy to the Tactics and Training Directorate.
The Air Force Proficiency and Leadership Awards acknowledge and recognise the outstanding performance and achievements of Air Force personnel and units over the previous year.
